Three games, three wins - a great weekend for AHOS. That's three in row for the As, the Bs continue their winning form, while the D's win ends a two game losing streak.

A Grade (158) d Pooraka (91 & 5/196)

Dharmabandu, Portlock, S Jones, Amarasinghe, M Loveder (c), J Stokes, Ozolins, Dollman, Sheedy, Giles, Shaw

Three wins in a row puts the As well and truly back in the hunt for a finals berth. Chris Shaw was again sensational with the ball picking up 6/40 to help knock over Pooraka for 91 and set up the win. A shaky start with the bat had us five wickets down overnight. Scott Jones (29) and Matty Loveder (65) guided us past the Pooraka total without loss to give us a hat trick of wins and real momentum heading towards the business end of the season. Shawry then backed up with two more wickets in Pooraka's second innings for a match total of 8/71 from 25 overs.

B Grade (266) d Pooraka (9/214)

Searle, West, Bannard, Modra, Logathetis, Mitchell, Roubos, C Jones, Kodituwakku, Ridley (c), Bartel

The Bs continued their unbeaten run with another great win. Sujeewa (57), Rids (71) and Westy (47) set up the win with great batting in 40+ degree heat last week. This week George Roubos in his first game of the season bagged 3/39 to be the best of the bowlers.

C Grade - bye

D Grade (9/180) d Elders - UniSA (149)

N Kokoschko, Kovaleff,  Perry, Sanders, Barnwell, Davis, A Kokoschko, D Jones, Ormond, Oakley, Tardivo (c)

Brenton Kovaleff was outstanding with 98 including four sixes with his last last four scoring  shots. He also featured in a 61 run partnership with Andre Kokoschko to steady the ship after we lost some early wickets. Great bowling and fielding saw Elders lose regular wickets. Mark Davis was the best of the bowlers with 4/42. Mick Sanders in his first outing for the club was also a great contributor with 24 runs, 2 direct hit run outs and a catch.

$15K Grant for AHOSCC!

E-mail Print PDF
The AHOSCC have been sucessful in gaining a $15000 grant from the Office for Recreation and Sport, to develop a 3rd turf pitch on the bottom oval. With assistance from Adelaide High School, it should now allow the club to develop the 3rd oval into another pitch, ensuring that we will always have 3 turf pitches available for use by the club and the school. This is a fantastic result for the club and one that should assist to ensure our prosperity for years to come! Congratulations to al involved on the committee who helped to put this application together.
