As 135 v PAOC 1/45
A disappointng performance on a good track has left the As with plenty to do next week. Only Damith (46) managed to get amongst the runs.

Bs 2/72 v Hope Valley 136
Probably our best day's cricket this season to follow on from last game's success. The bowlers were disciplined all day and were rewarded accordingly: Oakley bowled unchanged in the first session to finish with 5-45 from 20 overs and Thomson (5-37) never gave the batsmen a moment's rest. Our catching was impeccable snaring seven in the innings. A solid start has us in a good position to capitalise on our efforts but we need to concentrate on ensuring the prize at hand.

Cs 215 v Woodville South
A fantastic effort to bat out our overs and post a very competitive score. After losing an early wicket, the two Nicks, Kokoschko (20) and Kerin (44), stabilised the innings before more wickets fell. Then Davo (42) and Mihiranga (68) put on 92 runs to set up a total that was completed with some good hitting and running between the wickets by Amila and Shamil. This gives the Cs every chance in a must-win game if they are to make the semis.

Ds - Dumb batting puts Ds in danger of missing finals (4 Feb)
Dumb, immature batting from the top order has put us in the danger zone. On a perfect batting strip, we were only able to make 117 in chasing Rostrevor's 192. Only Chanaka (22), and Ganguli (20) showed any application with the bat. Our bowlers did well on a very flat track with Chanaka and Tristan picking up three wickets each, and Dimi two. We have a bye next week and then a tough game against other finals aspirant Athelstone. We must now win our last three games to be sure of making the finals.

As – Jakey back to form in big A Grade win over Unley

The A grade (249 & 7/105) had a fantastic win against Unley (131) to put us back in the hunt for the finals. Captain Jake, returning to form with 66, was well supported by Amal (43), Damith (36) and DB (35) to build a very good first innings total. Then Dolly (4/33), Giler (2/34) and Tilanka (2/36) did the business with the ball. We must now win our last three to stay in the race for the finals.

Bs – Will smacks 80, Mal bags 5 as Bs snap losing streak

Will Stokes put in a man of the match performance (80 & 2/25) to play a big role in the Bs (9/214 & 4/57) fighting win over Unley (177).  Howard Chambers also did well with the bat (35 & 27) while Mal Oakley bagged 5/37 in his best performance for the Bs and probably his best performance for the club.

Cs – Ben Modra (70) and Davo (4/61) standout in loss to Ingle farm

Our modest first innings total of 170 just wasn’t enough against an Ingle Farm (289) that had a big day with the bat. Ben Modra (71), Amila (27) and Shanith (26) did best with the bat while Davo was the best of the bowlers with 4/61. Like the As, the Ds must now win our last three if we are to see finals action.

Ds - Five dropped catches crucial in last week's loss (21 Jan)

The Ds (144) went down to Ingle Farm (6/186) at home. We won the toss and bowled first and bowled pretty well with a depleted attack but five dropped catches cost us dearly and had us chasing 186 instead of a much smaller score. Clarky again bowled well picking up 3/30 and Chamara took 2/45. Hasith (1/30) and Ghehaan (0/25) bowled very well but without luck. Hasith (48) and Marsland (27 no) were the best of our bats.
